Dubai International Airport

Dubai airport is located south-east of the city, with direct access via the airport road. There is a range of transport methods from the airport, taxis are plentiful and are operated by government-run Dubai Transport airport taxi service, 24 hours a day. Airport taxis are meter cabs with a pick up charge of Dhs. 20, and the final fare calculated by the distance travelled. The Dubai Municipality public bus system costs Dhs. 3 per person and uses bus route 401 and 402 to either Al Sabkha or Al Ghubaiba bus stations. These buses pass by, or near many of the hotels in the city. A total of 15 car rental companies have offices at the airport as well as two limousine companies.
